Project Location: Australia
Project Size: 100 hectares
Crop: Blueberries
Greenhouse Purpose: Commercial Blueberry Production
Greenhouse Type: Blueberry Tunnel Greenhouse
Supplier: JYXD Greenhouse
The Australian blueberry industry continues to evolve towards intensive and controlled production models. For large-scale commercial growers, expanding planting scale not only means increasing land area but also requires a growing environment that better protects crops from harsh weather and improves production management.
Against this backdrop, an Australian agricultural company planned to build a 100-hectare blueberry plantation project and needed a professional greenhouse manufacturer to provide a range of design solutions.
Compared to traditional greenhouse orders, the scale of this project presented different challenges. The solution needed to comprehensively consider the overall planting layout, greenhouse structure, crop support requirements, ventilation, covering materials, irrigation system integration, and future farm operations.
JYXD was selected to provide greenhouse solutions and manufacturing support for this project.
The cultivation characteristics of blueberries differ from those of traditional greenhouse vegetables. Excessive rainfall, intense sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity can all negatively impact plant growth, fruit quality, and harvest efficiency.
For this large-scale project, the client's primary concerns were:
Protecting blueberry plants from severe weather
Creating a more manageable growing environment
Providing ample sunlight and ventilation
Supporting efficient blueberry cultivation and harvesting
Designing the greenhouse according to the farm's actual layout
Integrating irrigation and other agricultural systems
Ensuring reliable structural performance required for long-term use
Ensuring consistent quality across a large project area
Working with manufacturers capable of handling high-volume production
This project did not utilize standard off-the-shelf structures but required solutions developed based on the crop, site, and commercial production plans.

For a 100-hectare blueberry project, greenhouse design should be approached from the perspective of the entire farm, rather than individual greenhouse units.
JYXD's design team developed a greenhouse configuration plan based on the project's planting requirements, available land, and operational needs.
This design focuses on the following key areas:
The internal layout is planned around the blueberry rows, providing ample space for plant growth, routine maintenance, and harvesting.
Blueberries require a proper balance between temperature, humidity, and airflow. Therefore, the greenhouse design emphasizes effective ventilation to help reduce excessively high temperatures and humidity within the growing area.
Protected cultivation structures help reduce the impact of heavy rains and other adverse weather conditions on blueberry plants and fruit.
The covering system is carefully selected to maintain suitable light conditions for crop growth while providing a degree of environmental protection.
The greenhouse layout design fully considers agricultural systems such as irrigation and fertilization, enabling the greenhouse to function as part of a complete commercial growing operation.
The final configuration can be adjusted based on local environmental data, including wind conditions, rainfall, temperature, planting methods, and site requirements.
A 100-hectare project requires much more than just producing a large number of greenhouse components.
JYXD organizes production according to the project structure, paying close attention to component specifications, quantities, packaging, and delivery sequence.
The manufacturing process includes:
Raw material preparation → Steel processing → Galvanizing → Component manufacturing → Quality inspection → Sorting → Packaging
The steel structure undergoes anti-corrosion treatment to ensure its long-term durability in outdoor agricultural environments.
For large-volume orders, component sorting is particularly important. Proper identification and organization of structural components improves the efficiency of transportation, inventory management, and subsequent installation.
JYXD's production team coordinates production according to the project schedule to meet the delivery requirements of the Australian client.

Once production was completed, the greenhouse components were prepared for international transportation.
Because of the enormous scale of a 100-hectare project, transportation efficiency became an important part of the supply process.
The greenhouse components were:
Classified according to project requirements
Professionally bundled and packaged
Arranged according to container loading plans
Protected during transportation
Loaded efficiently to maximize container capacity
lanting method and operational requirements.
International Supply Capability
From manufacturing in China to container loading and overseas delivery, JYXD provides coordinated support throughout the supply process.
Long-Term Agricultural Application
The goal of the project is not simply to build a greenhouse, but to create a practical protected cultivation environment for commercial blueberry production.
A 100-hectare project requires a greenhouse partner with the ability to understand both agricultural requirements and large-scale manufacturing.
With extensive experience in greenhouse manufacturing and international projects, JYXD provides customized solutions for blueberry growers, agricultural investors and commercial farming companies.
From greenhouse planning and structural design to manufacturing and export delivery, we help customers turn large-scale agricultural plans into practical greenhouse solutions.
